Kael Shipman

I'm a web applications developer (PHP/Javascript) working at a small fintech startup in downtown Chicago. I love object-oriented programming, detest prefab frameworks, and adore open source everything. I believe programming is the new literacy -- the reins to a future that you can both determine yourself and enjoy. That's why I think it's so important to spread it to all, and especially to kids and youth in underserved communities.
